Description
Provides both pyridoxine hydrochloride and pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P), the coenzyme or "activated" form of B6. As P5P, vitamin B6 is involved in the metabolism of amino acids, lipids and nucleic acids.*

B6, which is also known as pyridoxine is involved in the production of the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine. It also plays a role in supporting the metabolism of amino acids, lipids and nucleic acids.
Certain conditions may leave you lacking proper Vitamin B6 levels. They include complications from kidney failure, alcohol abuse, liver scarring, poor heart health and certain medications.
A mild deficiency in pyridoxine is fairly common. Supplementation may be able to help you maintain good health.

Usage
Suggested Use
Adults: As a dietary supplement, 1 capsule daily with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Caution: Large doses of vitamin B6 should not be taken exclusively. Whenever possible, B6 intake should be balanced with other B vitamins. There are some reports of adverse reactions to large doses of vitamin B6 above 300 mg daily. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or undergoing treatment for a medical condition, please consult your healthcare professional before using this product. Store in a cool, dry place and tightly capped. Keep out of the reach of children. Tamper resistant package, do not use if outer seal is missing.
