Bacillus CoagulansVET is a beneficial bacteria that resists destruction by stomach acid. It supports healthy gut flora in cats, dogs, and horses, and requires no refrigeration or special handling.
The intestinal tracts of dogs, cats, and horses contain trillions of bacteria that, in a healthy animal, coexist in a beneficial and symbiotic relationship. These beneficial bacteria promote healthy GI function, optimal bowel regularity, and normal immune response. Providing a companion animal with supplemental probiotic bacteria promotes a healthy intestinal environment by producing lactic acid and facilitating the production of fatty acids that are further helpful to the growth of other beneficial microorganisms. ThorneVET’s Bacillus CoagulansVET represents a breakthrough in probiotic supplementation. Because this “good” bacteria is dormant until it’s being digested, it resists being destroyed by stomach acid (like many probiotics) and reverts to a growing bacteria when it reaches the intestines. Each soft chew contains 2 billion Colony Forming Units.

Usage
Cats: 1/4 capsule daily
Dogs: 1 capsule per 25 lbs. of body weight daily
Horses: 4-8 capsules daily
