セレンは、脂質 (脂肪) の酸化を阻害する必須微量元素であり、ビタミン E と相乗的に作用して抗体の産生を助け、健康な肝臓、膵臓、甲状腺、心臓の機能を維持します*。細胞膜をフリーラジカルから保護する抗酸化酵素であるグルタチオン ペルオキシダーゼ。無機形態のセレンとは異なり、Seleno Met™ はビタミン C の悪影響を受けません。
