Promotes Bowel Function Without Stimulant Laxatives
Laxative Formula gently but effectively cleanses the intestinal surfaces and promotes bowel function without the use of stimulant laxatives, such as senna and cascara.* These laxatives chemically stimulate the intestines. If used on a routine basis, the bowels can become dependent on them and lose the built-in reflexes that normally help the bowels function. In contrast, Laxative Formula works with the body’s own elimination processes to safely promote bowel movements.*

Usage
Adults: Take 2 tablets at bedtime or as recommended by your healthcare professional. May increase to 3 tablets at bedtime, if needed. Reduce dosage if you experience abdominal discomfort or diarrhea. If discomfort persists, discontinue use.
Warning: Consult a healthcare professional if a sudden change in bowel habits occurs and persists for two weeks, if taking prescription drugs, have gallstone or bile duct obstruction. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition; discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Unless directed by a healthcare professional, do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting is present, or if you have kidney disease. Do not take more than three tablets in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than two weeks. Laxative products are not intended for long-term use, unless directed by a healthcare professional. Keep out of the reach of children.
